Pregnant women often do not know how age pregnancy, because the occurrence of conception is not known exactly. There are several ways to calculate the age of your pregnancy.

The first day of last menstruation ( Neagele rules)

Here we calculate the guidelines menstruation cycle. Based on that date, doctors estimate the age of pregnancy and birth date baby.Its using  Naegele rules (days +7), (months-3), (year +1). For example, if  menstruation last april 1^, 2003 the estimated labor january 8, 2004.

NOTE :

Neagele rules can only be applied to women who her menstruation regular cycle that is 28 - 30 days.

Estimated date of confinement often slip between 7 days before or after the day of birth. Only about 5% baby will be born according to the calculation.

To reduce the possibility of  too not accurate calculations, then the women who cycle menstruation will be added a few short days from the day labor estimates. Meanwhile, the long cycle menstruation  few days would be reduced from the estimated labor hours

For months that can not be reduced with 9,sample 3 January, February and March in the month and year the same.
