Pregnancy spotting or bleeding during pregnancy, very early in the very normal, and May does not mean anything to care at all. Things to Know 
Some times, it is not possible to determine what caused the pregnancy prenatal spotting or bleeding. Spotting is usually a very light form of bleeding, something like May have noted at the beginning or end of your normal menstruation. It is possible to notice some blood as the blood supply to your cervix and pelvis has increased. Of course, spotting varies in color from pink to red to brown - similar to that of dried blood. 

Let us look at what can cause this spotting and vaginal bleeding during pregnancy: 

• During implantation bleeding - You May notice slight vaginal pregnancy spotting for a few days very early in their pregnancy. This is about the time of your fertilized egg implants itself on the walls of your uterus. It is so early in your pregnancy - about 6 to 7 days after fertilization - which you probably still are not aware that you are pregnant. 
  Ectopic Pregnancy - spotting or bleeding can be a sign of ectopic pregnancy - implantation and subsequent development of a fertilized egg outside the uterus, as in the Fallopian tube - or a sign of early abortion. In such a case, spotting accompanies abdominal pain and cramping. Another rare condition - known as Molar pregnancy - in which abnormalities in the fertilized egg makes it impossible for the embryo to develop or survive, also cause bleeding. 

  Around 30 percent of women have some type of pregnancy spotting or bleeding very early in their pregnancies, and about half of these women miscarry. If the ultrasound, which is performed between the seven till eleven weeks, shows a normal heart, the chances for survival of pregnancy is more than 90 percent. 
  Infection - certain conditions, which are not associated with pregnancy, such as: 
  But of vaginal infections, such as a yeast infection or bacterial vaginosis 
  But of sexually transmitted infections, such as trichomoniasis, gonorrhea, chlamydia and herpes can cause spotting because of inflamed or irritated cervix. Bleeding or spotting May also be observed after the sex, or Pap smear, if you have a cervical polyp, which is a good growth. 
  Problems placenta - Pregnancy spotting or bleeding in the second or third trimesters of your pregnancy is serious. This may be a sign of a condition known as: placenta previa, placental abruption - the placenta separating from the uterus, a late abortion - if it is between 13 and mid-week of pregnancy or earlier work - if it is between mid-pregnancy and 37 weeks. 

  Problems with the placenta can cause bleeding during the first trimester of your pregnancy. 
  Normal mode - If after 37 weeks of pregnancy a mucus discharge tinged with blood, is observed, it is a sign that the cervix is preparing for work, as has become soft. However, any spotting or bleeding should be reported to a doctor. 
  Do not take any vaginal pregnancy spotting during pregnancy lightly. Report on all cases in their own doctor, and let him decide. It is always better to be safe on the side of caution.
